Reykjavik Open 2024

Prepare to immerse yourself in the picturesque landscapes of Grafarholt, Iceland, as we proudly present the Reykjavík Open Disc Golf Tournament. Taking place from May 18 to May 20, this three-round competition promises a challenging and unforgettable experience on the notorious wooded course in Grafarholt.

Reykjavík Open 2024 will be held on the weekend of May 17-20, 2024. The tournament will take place in Grafarholt where three rounds will be played. The tournament will open on Friday the 17th of May with a player meeting, barbecue, some games and entertainment. The first round will be played the following day, May 18. Reykjavik Open 2024 is an A-tier tournament, the first of its kind in Iceland. This marks a milestone in disc golf in Iceland and no disc golfer should miss out on this. The following is information regarding the registration.

Registration for the tournament opens on February 1st and will be in stages. Each stage will be open for 3 days, so be sure to sign up early. The following divisions will be available : MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1, FA1. Please note! If there is enough demand, an MA50 category will be offered which opens for registration after the third stage (February 10).

Reykjavik Open 2024 is a part of 2024 PDGA Women’s Global Event.
All Participants of the female divisions are eligible to submit their rounds played in Reykjavik Open to the Women’s Global Event should they choose to do so.

Course information:

Nestled in the heart of Iceland's stunning landscape, the Grafarholt Wooded Course stands as a testament to nature's beauty and the thrilling challenges of disc golf. Renowned as one of the most beautiful yet demanding courses in Iceland, Grafarholt offers a challenge to both pros and amateurs alike. The course has 18 beautiful holes with a selection of layouts. Its a wooded course with a few open fairways. Grafarholt is home to Reykjavik Disc Golf Club, FGR (Frisbígolffélag Reykjavíkur) and there we have our clubhouse where you can find snacks, drinks and a place to relax. Besides being one of the best courses in Iceland, we also have a professional driving range with baskets on 20 meter increments all the way from 60 to 120 meters. Not only that, nesting side by side the main course lies a complete putting/mini course which is really handy and challenging if you want to warm up before a round.
